This website was built to showcase and sell original art, crocheted items, t-shirts with designs derived from the original art, prints and music written by Karen Daniel. WordPress was used as the framework using the Shoperific premium theme by Bold Themes. The goal was to present a graphic rich environment that showcases a wide variety of creative endeavors, while maintaining excellent usability.
DAY was founded by Karen and Hugh Daniel, two artists who focus their creative energy on original paintings, handmade crochet items and music. These items are available for sale and include a special bird art collection: acrylics on canvas, miniature paintings, handmade crochet purses, crochet hats, scarves and other accessories. To make some paintings more affordable, they are available as art prints on archival-quality paper.
