This website was built to showcase and sell original art, crocheted items, t-shirts with designs derived from the original art, prints and music written by Karen Daniel. WordPress was used as the framework using the Shoperific premium theme by Bold Themes. The goal was to present a graphic rich environment that showcases a wide variety of creative endeavors, while maintaining excellent usability.
KFWF needed a new website to make it easier to post news articles, provide a platform for forms that record ticket sales of the Deer Hunt, Bull Elk Tag drawing, other fundraisers, that would accept donations to sponsor youth to summer camps, and provide information on the camps available for kids interested in the outdoors.
The Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Foundation needed a website setup quickly for a multi-state, multi-agency drive to help reduce the impact of Asian Carp, a destructive, invasive species.
hpdDesign was approached to do a website promoting the book, The Birthday Gift that Beeped, with leading characters, Beeping Ben (a smoke alarm) and Joey, a young boy interested in fire safety. The website offers basic information, but will be expanded to full e-commerce capabilities to sell the book and fire safety educational materials.
